I think this sounds AWESOME  Grin and perfect for the winter months! we never have fun stuff in the winter! I'm thinking early December. That gives us time to plan and promote and keeping that excitement going all year. Jes and I have some ideas all panned out and ready for October.

Suggested Camping Checklist -

Core Equipment
___ Tent
___ Sleeping bag & ___ Sleeping pad
___ Camping Stove
___ Ice chest
___ Lantern / Flashlight (extra mantles for lanterns and bulbs for flashlights)

Optional
___ Screen House or Sun Shelter
___ Camping Table (few and far between at Ogallala)
___ Folding Chair(s) (definitely bring your own)
___ Air Mattress or Camping Mattress (strongly suggested)
___ Blanket & ___ Pillow
___ Extra Batteries
___ Notepad and Pencil

Tools & Cooking
In addition to the core set of gear you will also need a set of cooking gear for preparing meals and cleaning up:
___ Small ax or hatchet
___ Matches and lighter (Fire Starter / Tender / Wood)
___ Small grill (or other grate) & propane or Lighter fluid/briquets
___ Can opener, ___ Spatula, ladle, paring knife
___ Garbage bags, ___ Paper Towels, ___ Wet Wipes
___ Dish Soap
___ Coffee pot or tea kettle (definitely bring your own)
___ Sauce pan or dutch oven, ___ Frying pan or griddle
___ Cooking Oil for Treating Cast Iron
___ Aluminum Foil
___ Hot Pads or Mitt
___ Plates, bowls and cups, ___ Knives, forks and spoons
___ Large Sealable Bags for Food Storage
___ Large Table Cloth
___ Wash tub
___ 5-Gallon Drinking Water Container

Personal Hygeine / Toiletries
___ First aid kit (minimally this should include a “sleeve” of adhesive bandages of different shapes and size. Neosporin to help keep from becoming infected. Aspirin for adults, Children’s Tylenol for kids, a tube of Cortizone-10 cream for itchy skin, some tweezers, and a couple of Instant Cold Ice Packs.
___ Insect repellent
___ Sunscreen
___ Toilet paper (enough to share)
___ Towels
___ Small broom or whisk broom
___ Soap, Shampoo and Shower Shoes (there are shower facilities at other sites)

Food & Water – Meals depending on how long your staying
____ Condiments: BBQ Sauce / Ketchup / Mustard / Mayo
____ Butter &/or Cooking Oil
____ Cereal
____ Bread, ____ Packaged Bagels
____ Packaged Cold Cuts / Cheese
____ Beef, Chicken, Pork, Fish or Dehydrated Foods
____ Eggs, ____ Bacon, ____ Sausage, ____ Pancake Mix
____ Canned Goods, ____ Fruit
____ 2 gallon of water per person, per day is suggested
____ Milk (in plastic container), Soda / Juice / Other Drinks, Coffee / Tea / Cocoa
____ Chips / Pretzels / Popcorn, ____ Snack Bars / Dried Fruit, ____ Granola Bars

Miscellaneous
____ Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
____ Cutting Board
____ Can Opener / Bottle Opener / Cork Screw
____ Paper Plates / Cups or Washable Plates & Cups
____ Tablecloth / Clips
____ Camera / Film

____ Tarp(s) (good for placing under tents to reduce moisture and for make-shift shelters)
____ Sunscreen
____ Bug Spray
____ Lighter / Waterproof Matches
____ Newspaper
____ Extra Tent Stakes (cheap plastic stakes work well)
____ “Ziploc” bags (handy to keep small electronics dry and for storing meat or chicken away from the rest of your food in the cooler)
____ Garbage Bags (*take ALL of your garbage with you! Carry In - Carry Out!)

IDK if there is anywhere we were planning to host entries on here, but since i am bored and on spring break i figured i would throw my idea up real quick.

For anyone not too PC savy, in order to easily post pics on a message board, create an account at photobucket.com or similar site that hosts photos, then post a link to the photo.

That would be pretty awesome! I have been itchin to go there too. I think there is an indoor speedway place similar here in lincoln. IDK if they are still open, but there used to be one.
